Musician, songwriter, entertainer, and educator Tracey Eldridge takes delight in performing for young audiences.  Vivacity, warmth, and humor are hallmarks of Tracey's performances.  A 30-year veteran of the music industry,  she has played in musical configurations of every size from the classic big band to solo.  She draws upon two decades of professional experience in creative movement, clowning, and teaching in additon to her formal training in music, theatre, and languages to create multidimensional programs infused with color, creativity, and verve.  A graduate of MSAC's Teaching Artist Institute and of the Kennedy Center's Teaching Artist Seminars, Tracey builds fun educational programs strongly rooted in curriculum.  In 1993 she developed the first of her MUSIC 'n' MOTION programs.  In the meantime she has touched the lives of thousands of children in schools, libraries, and entertainment venues across the Mid-Atlantic.  Her children's CD NEVER MIND THE RAIN has garnered some of the most prestigious of children's recording industry awards including Parent's Choice Gold and NAPPA Gold awards.  Her songwriting has received awards in the International Songwriting Contest, the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the Great American Songwriting Contest, and others.
